Re: For sale post

I did think it was just mine that was removed but when I seen there was only one page I assumed it was periodically cleaned up.

Re: For sale post

Definitely one missing of mine...It was titled few parts for sale. With Christmas coming and moving units I didn't get to come online much so didn't update.
I went to update it now and it's gone.

Re: For sale post

Bit crap when you go to check an old post to update it though.
Is there not a sticky to warn us old posts will be deleted?

Do threads in the for sale section get deleted after a set period of time?

Re: Exhaust tips

That is nice but like you say it probably won't fit the SRI. How much did that cost you?

Re: Exhaust tips

I've personally never been a fan of outward roll. Suppose I'm best getting the car there and holding up tips to see what suits the bumper in my eyes.

You had work done at top gear Dan?

Re: WTF???

Well Terry not throwing a spanner in here but I wouldn't pay 3k for your Sri. Ok it's got some nice bits but you'd have to break it to get your moneys worth. If I bought an Sri it would be a pre facelift with the original 8v. The gls is at a crazy price however and would fit the current market at a...

Re: WTF???

Again age doesn't mean classic status mate. The Cavalier was a mass produced rep mobile when all is said and done. They'll never reach the levels of the minor or the RS of the day sadly.

Re: WTF???

I don't know why you keep bleating back to 'plastic modern' cars? We all love Cavs on here so we're not against you but that valuation of what really was a poverty spec in it's day is crazy. I had a GLS Cavalier, I paid £400 for it in good condition, I now have a SRi that I've modified which I would...

Re: WTF???

In all seriousness now...Do you actually consider a GLS Cavalier with grey trim to be a classic in the making? Or is it the drugs talking?

Just because the GSi and Turbo have a cult following you can't chuck all Cavaliers in the classic pot....Surely

Re: WTF???

I didn't state engine size I stated SPEC.....Just because something is old and in good condition doesn't automatically make it a classic or valuable.

I do think you're love of Cavaliers has you blinkered.
It's not you selling the car is it???

WTF???

Can someone please explain this to me PLEASE.

I obviously haven't been drinking enough to see the price being warranted for a GLS.

Re: Cavalier SRi Turbo

Hi Leigh...Think I may have replied to you on facebook regarding the intercooler. Yes there was quite a bit of fettling done to get the IC to fit. I had to cut the lip off the bottom radiator support and weld it up. Also had to cut the ends of the chassis legs for the pipework to fit. Black part of ...
