Re: leather seats

As said above they're just a straight swap if they're from a mk3, if you want to make use of the heated elements, you probably also have the wiring there with it being a 1996 car.

I'm pretty sure it's Rioja red? I've only seen it on a handful of cavs but definitely one of the nicest colours.

Re: TD Daily Project

I need to put a new battery on this and was wondering if this one will be alright? It fits in the tray and I just need it to power the alarm, central locking and the occasional startup.

Yeah I had a look and couldn't find a thread, seems easy enough removing the polarised film and flipping it over. I had to do basically the same thing when I backlit my old Gameboy :thumb

It used to be possible to do this on the dual info display by reversing the LCD filter film.
That sounds very interesting, have you got any more info on this Robsey?

Will do mate, thinking about it I have a decent-ish badge, a bit of laquer? peel on the badge face but not too noticeable unless up close that you could have for a couple of quid, if you want one until you can find a perfect one.

Re: TD Daily Project

Good choice, although I like Orions, purely because of the trunk, I'd still stick with the Cavalier. Can't go wrong. Yeah the Orions do have a large boot area, would have loved a 1.6 Ghia but cav will be super nice when done, loving it more with just the GSi tail lamps if I'm honest, although it's ...
