Yes thats the fuel carbon canister, it has a vacuum pipe going to it if i remember rightly which is probably what the hissing is if its split.

Hi, A cavalier gls 2.6i doesnt exist, i assume you mean either a 2litre or a 2.5 v6. Either way none of them have Independant rear suspension (IRS). I think some proper oil cooler pipework needs to be made up to be on the safe side. Take your pipes to "Pirtek" and they will make you some identical hoses bit with proper preasure clamps on etc..

Yes it will work but you need to use a display with it that the cav doesnt have. But so long as you can figure out how to put the code in without the display then it will work fine
