right got my fuel comp fitted and working and on a run on the m8 im getting 49.5 mpg :eek: should the comp light up when your lights are on ? and ive noticed since fitting the lights on the heater controls are not working could there be a plug out the rear of the unit ? or is it just the bulbs that ...

cheers for all the help on this thread i hijacked got the comp back and fitted today made sure the yellow plug was correct with no gaps and i can report its WORKING just need to reset/set the time now so how do you do that

Also.... difficult to see in the photo, but it looks like there is a gap at one end. Make sure the black insert in the yellow plug is pushed fully home in the yellow bit. I have seen these move and when you fit it in the back of the display it goes on one row of pins out. do you mean yhe black part...

tbh your better off with a good sri redtop saloon that goes like stink less to go wrong keep your turbo ill stick wi the sri (unless somebody wants to swap lol) mind you i would love a 130 saloon they are the dog ging-gangs

right liffted up the carpets and soundproofing today and the floor was soaked in water so after cutting out all the wet s/p felf right up behind the dash on both sides and it was all dry (bone dry) . the gromets on the floor were moving about a bit so im guessing that the water was coming up through...

i just got a computer/switch from another site and its not working the guy i got it off said he plugged it into his calibra turbo and it worked fine so could my probem be it needs reset or something or is it to do with the ecu set up being diff from the redtop?

well the new arches are in the bodyshop as we speak(took a bit longer cause they sent vectra 1's out 1st time around :hysterical:) 2 weeks to go till there done cant wait also the car is getting a full m/c polish so it will look as fresh as the winds we are having
