Cheers for the info robsey, Al start stripping it on Sunday and wait for clutch replacement hopefully to arrive . I contacted auto vaux he said send it bk to be inspected and will exchange if gd to go . bought that 3yrs ago new it was ready to go but hardly used the car fingers crossed

Cheerz colin , do u reckon I put a thin bead of that gasket sealant all the way round the rubber gasket or just a small bit round the holes , and locktite thread seal . The diagram in the book shows just small bit round the holes

Cheerz m8 for info . need some help . I took out 14 sump bolts and was putting them in a tin then noticed 2 were longer and I'm not sure what end the longer ones go in .am thinking the 2 at the flywheel side , please correct me if I'm wrong

Going to do sump gasket do I use sealant or just put straight on just because it's rubber not to sure but don't think so , rather have u guys experience
