defo take the plastic trim off around the blower under the scuttle panel its around where the heater sits mine was leeking in the same place..............took off plasic trim and the foam seal was fcuked bought a good quality silicone (1 which could be applyed to wet surfaces) it smelled for a week ...

window just needs reset hold button in till window goes all the way down then push the down button again hold for a few seconds and repeat for the window going up hope that helps

Does the gauge stay on the blue when driving and only heat up when stationary? This would suggest that the stat is sticking open? Run up from cold the rad should stay cold until the stat opens, if it slowly gets warm then again the stat is likely to be jammed open. If it stays shut then the engine ...

Hang on, it was on the blue line but one of the pipes was warm? Sounds like the stat is doing it's job, it holds back the water until it heats up to a certain temperature, then when it does, the stat opens up and lets the water through the radiator to be cooled. Fan shouldn't come on until high 90'...

was out today in the cav to go and get oil n stuff and noticed my temp gauge was sitting on the blue :scratch now it norm sits between the blue and the first white line popped the bonnet and found the pipe on the right was cool so was the rad but the left hand side was hot along with the rad am i ri...

right guys n gals its time for another oil change before winter sets in i norm use a good quality 10-40 oil but was wondering if anybody uses 5-30 in there car

another can of worms opened lol cheers for the help guys u can tow up to your kerb weight of your car but also add on 75kg for driver as well so ive been told :scratch my mondeo mk3 v6 is on its last legs so i need a new car anyway but was hoping to tow my van with the cav looking at going to cornwa...

cheers guys the vauxhall badge is off due to water dmage like i said will try and get the silver part off t the weekend if the weather has changed lol might het the silver bit up to see if it come off bit better fingers crossed no holes eh lol

just wondering is the badge on the rear spolier come off without leaving a hole in the spolier (silver part) as the badge had water damage on it and looked tatty so took it off nd dont want to remove the silver part just in case it leaves a hole in the spolier http://i930.photobucket.com/albums/ad14...

top man the play is about 5 mm up and down still got the winter wheels on will change the wheels around and see if that sorts it. Alloys going back on shortly though

right im getting some vibs from the steering sitting at 70 ish so me and a mate had a look and found nothing odd at the wheels but its seems ive got a bit of play in the rack at the centre (on the bulkhead) not at the top ball joints i can hold the bar that runs to the wheels and they move up and do...
