A bloke on vv6oc.com says that the intake system from a Vectra V6 is the best type. He used to work at the V6 engine plant apparently and has bench tested all forms of manifolds.

I had an M reg Ecocav a few years ago and decided to upgrade :lol: to a P reg 2 litre ecotec Vectra. What a mistake! I hated every second of the 2 months I owned it. how miles is on the engine? cone filter maybe losing you bhp due to suckin in hot air as for heat wraping the exhaust that be gainin ponnies 124bhp sounds fine but its peaking early then standard by 600rpm so is the torque figure. its all bout the range over the revs not just peak figures l say. I took the Cav back to the Pod the other week and ran a best of 14.6 @95mph, which is 0-60 in about 6.4 secs Pretty pleased with that, it was 0.3 sec faster than previous.
