boost gauge fitting
i have a 1.5 td nova that i want to fit a boost gauge to so i can monitor what the turbo is doing but i wouldn't have a clue where to fit the gauge line to to get the correct reading. the only place i can think of is the actuator line as it comes off the side of the boost side of the turbo right und...

well i've got the head off it now and ive got 4 bent valves and 2 smashed cam followers. going to an engine rebuild place in a minute to see what they say about it

:wall looks like i'll be missing this one my novavan needs attention thanks to the cam pulley bolts working loose and destroying the head this morning my money now needs to go into my van to get it back on the road :wall anyone know where i can get a replacement head for a 4ec1 1.5 diesel engine from?

not bad i've never bothered going through my insurance can't be bothered with the hassle and my excess is probably about £50 anyway. if my screen was a couple of hundred then it would be worth it but for an extra £30 i can't see the plus side of all the hassle

my first screen had thousands of little tiny chips so got it replaced by national windscreens for £80 i then had a crack in the new one a couple of years later so searched around again and found my old invoice from them they asked for the invoice number pulled it up and did it again for £80. i would...

just had a look it's going to cost me £40 round trip in fuel plus food drinks and entry might be a bit tight for me my nova needs tax at the end of oct i'll see what wages i get so i have a rough idea of what funds im now getting (payrise ) and i'll work it out and hopefully see you there

i put 17's on to raise my cav as i lowered the suspension to improve the handling but with 195/45/r15 vauxhall 5 spokes on yeah she looked great but i've now got a dent in my fuel tank so the 17's have kept the handling but made her more practical. i am thinking of putting the tiny 15's back on thou...

never had a problem with the guys on the a14 opposite the cambridge services they bring my cav up brilliant but i made the mistake of using the bp carwash in st ives cambs and lost my wingmirrors and now i'm banned yeah ok i kicked off but i believe i had a right too when they haven't even refunded ...
