quite a bit of progress, i finally managed to source a genuine cav turbo gear knob and also a new boot badge (griffin), also a new oe aerial rubber, and a pair of front mudflaps. I have fitted my rear bilstein b4 shocks, just waiting to have the time to do the front end which will include, oem wishb...

I use to have lots of bikes when you I was younger, I ended up with cbr600rr and one day I was riding past woods in Abergele and I spotted this little yellow bike, I quickly turned around and went back to view the bike,no deal was done and I rode away on a stunning rgv250rrv... Best bike I ever had ...

i have no idea why you would claim for this and not just get a second hand door from somewhere? pissed of that the scum did this but why claim ? its just a door? your premium will go up now for the next 5 years?

the 5 stud front discs are the same internal 70mm iirc bore as that bit sits on a little step on the hub... it is the disc "bell" part that is different, the big recess bit. early 284 ones are bigger in shape so go over later hubs and later discs, like the 288 and 308 would need the hubs ...

I think white with white wheels looks really retro cool. :thumb Like the white astra GTEs still trying to decide what wheels to get to be honest.. as the man says, if your have already got late calibra 5 stud hubs that the 288's fit over, just bolt on the carriers and discs. if you have actually got the larger diameter early 5 stud hubs off of a cav turbo or a car with 284mm brakes, your new ones won't fit over the hubs. so my turbo calipers ...

Hi everyone, i have been doing a bit of research and still dont have a definitive answer,
will vectra/saab 9-5 308mm discs and carriers fit my car.
i have calibra turbo 5 stud hubs and calibra turbo 288mm brakes.

treated the old girl for xmas, ordered a full set of new bilstien b6 shocks, new lower arms, poly bush kit, new track rod ends, drop links, ball joints.. then trying to gather info for doing a 308mm brake upgrade

i used the tightest drill bits i could, 5.5mm i think or maybe 5mm, as btcctroy says its looking like a worn linkage as there must be play. its a bloody nightmare, dropping the saab engine in was easier than this lol ..
