oh rite ok. umm ye i suppose that wouldnt hurt to try :) well make sure it isnt somethin stupidly simple as it was with my Cav...months of working on and waiting for the selector switch to start working after replacing it, and all it was was a blown fuse :lol: so ye make sure it aint a simple thing ...

My guess buddy would be an electronic fault, or the selector cable is loose. have you tried the famous "paper-clip" trick to diagnose the fault/s youself?

ok sure. well its an automatic, so any gear really, and with a tiny bit of throttle but only between 1000 and 1200 rpm. any other revs or idle speed, it sounds perfectly normal. i just changed the oil a few days ago and started noticing that rattle a bit more.

Hi all just wondering.. i own a 1.8i Cavalier LS, and when the engine is warm and i drive at low revs, specifically 1100 rpm, there is a rattling noise coming from the engine, but only at those revs and only when its warm. if anyone can help then thank you andy
