Didn't work with my cat... Saw it a few months ago...
Mine prefers anything placed on the floor that she can fit on... A4 paper, laptop, ps3... Any clothes...
Is funny though.

Temp sensor wires... Take out glove box, up and to left is a big rubber gromet...
Get some garden wire or wire coat hanger and carefully push it through, tape wires to coat hanger and pull trough
Route it whatever way makes you happy under the bonnet

Re: Led switch/button adaptation
Check out crazy LEDs.com... They do the switches, money back if you send your old ones, if the don't have them... Post them yours and they will do them. Should be able to customise the colours if you ask... Get on google, there are loads of threads on other forums about the heater panels and resisto...

Re: Cavalier 1.6L
I had standard LED in my DID and looked fine, red in my purple Cav and blue in my auto... It looks crap in the analogue clock... But so does a standard bulb... People have been doing LED 'upgrades' on the heater panel :) I always upgrade dash lights and others to led... Don't need the dimming lol. I...

Re: Cavalier 1.6L
Unless your fitting dim able LEDs they won't dim...
When we wired in Andrais turbo gauges we went from the clock illumination as that was already dim able :/
Might be different on your cav... No 2 ever seem to be the same lol
Like the progress!!!

Re: Cavalier 1.6L
I have a heated seat surround, switches, traction control switch and the connector blocks for heated seat switches. £10 plus postage lol I use to have kerb lights... Never fitted them... Opted for logo lights instead :) You might have to run a beefier wire or a second 12v to your interior light if y...

Ah right, just read through cheers, although I'm sure I searched nearly the exact title before... Must have missed it  didn't think they'd need to be there, wonder what reason it was to add them factory.... Mainly curiosity, looks like I'll wire the clock tomorrow and the temp when I have mor...

This post would suggest there are 2 not used...
Switched live
And road speed...
The rest should just piggy back from the original clock wire
And obv the 2 for the sensor...

Re: Audio upgrade
A lot of people steer clear of 3 way and stick to component... If your upgrading your speakers, maybe look at the speaker wire itself... It's 20 years old and prob low quality... Jump on Google or audio forums and get there recomenndations... Amps under seats are cool, but make sure your water tight...

Re: Cavalier 1.6L
Cheap enough on eBay mate, might even have one in the shed...
I retro fitted one on my purple Cav...
Should be 2 blue wires that come from the did plug...
They go to the sensor.

Here's a thought... Don't take it the wrong way... Swap it for a sheep... Are you doing things to your car that YOU like? Or what is 'accepted' by the masses... The white looks good, gsi grille... Nice set of 17" deep dish wheels, Lower it about 30-40mm, subtle stainless exhaust, Sri lip spoile...

Re: B204 Conversion
Generally speaking, bigger cars - bigger engines - more power :thumb I might have to argue this one... I had a cinquecento with a 1.2 16v conversion That could destroy a lot of bigger engine big cars on acceleration... If I had fitted the longer ratio gearbox it could easy of got to 120... Mates go...
