Re: Dimensions
If you remove the legs nicely enough then it should go back on in the right place. Its only really the rear beam mounting point that needs to be spot on but you could just join it just infront of the beam mount and then it wont matter if its slightly off.

The front shocks are totall differant so wont fit. The back shocks might go on though but they may be too short.
The springs should fit though front and back. How good it will be though i dont know.

Re: Cavalier SRi Turbo
This is off my old WIP thread from when i did it. I'll start off with the gears again. I still wasn't happy with them so i ordered a Brand new Linkage Rod from vauxhall, i was suprised to find out that it only costs about £37 trade price. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v687/Novadose16/09092009158...

It wont be the gear stick terry it will be the gear rod that the stick ball sits in. I dont it on my turbo and it was like brand new afterwards.

Re: Anti chip paint
Nope never heard of it.
As for tailgating people this really wont be helping at all.
You wont stop stone chips, i inspect brand new mercs/bmws/jaguars etc. and even at 4000 miles they have plenty of stone chips on them.
You could wrap the front end in clear film, i have seen this done before.

Re: kind of paint and primer
I assume your spraying it yourself at home or unit etc..? So no booth or previous experience? If assumed right then forget water base as you will never be able to get it right or get it to dry properly. You will need some 2K primer, 2k Basecoat then a 2K laquer to go over the top. Being silver your ...
