The black centres will make it look like you lost the original ones and went to scrap yard and took plastic ones off an old corsa

You shouldn't off polish either. You should need just a good wax to create a good protection. I've never used a plain wax before. Tho I'm tempted to try one.

I use autoglym. Have for years. It's expensive. But just got a litre bottle for £7! Happy days. Always best to use a t cut if it hasn't been done. You can get special metallic one that brightens up dull clear top coat a treat.

Well I'm in the process of Preface lifting my 94 TD. I've almost finished converting a Cesaro face lift spolier into an old Badgeless style (Chopped out a hole, fibre glass, filler, smooth, prime, colour) Just need to flattern and laquar. I've aslways used Cavalier/mk2 astra pods, and fitted fine and the Magnets on my pioners are massive.
If you sound dead the front door while you are at it you'll make most of the speakers too.
