Re: Whats my car wired for?

If you have electric windows then you should have the wiring for the mirrors as its the same loom. Most have got the fog light looms and the heated seat wiring.

Good work Tony, I like the idea of power coating. I always planned to do stuff this way myself but things always seem to be rushed around here!

Re: Trailer Teltail

Sorry if this is in the wrong section I've recently fitting a tow bar to my cav and I wired up the socket with the proper wiring vauxhall put under the plastic cover in the boot (all the trailer lights work as they should). I had hoped that in doing this rather than tapping into the wiring at the b...

Re: Trailer Teltail

I should really check the connections on my towbar, whereabouts is the plastic cover in the boot? Also I want to change the electric socket as the cover has broken off of it and the backing as it's snapped leaving the socket dangling. Do the wires need to be undone at the socket itself? If its ther...

Re: TD Daily Project

Nice looking cav you have there chap. Shame about the rot in the boot, not trying to scare you but when all that is grinded back ready for welding you could end up with a much much bigger hole because what looks like solid metel might not be once its been grinded a bit but anyway lets hope its not t...

Car Tax scam

A member of my own forum came across this on the web when searching for the DVLA Tax disc payment website, worrying thing is that it came up before the real site.! It looks like the DVLA's own site but it will cost you if you use this site so beware! https://taxdisc-online.co.uk/?gclid=...FQIGwwodUV...

Re: Tail light brightness

Jut looked on a bulb suppliers website and it says that the T5 has 21/5w lights so I guess the lenses must be better! Saying that when i had Lexus lights on one of my Cav's the rear lights were brighter using the same bulbs, not that I am suggesting that you buy lexus lights of course! One thing you...
