Re: Diplomat electric aerial won't go down
My old one had similar problem. Ended up taking it all apart, degreasing all the plastic gears. Cleaning them, then regreasing. Worked after that.

Re: Suspension
I had b4 bilstien and eibach springs on my TD hatch. Drove well, and was comfy. Had b8 bilstien and Courtenay sport springs on my V6 saloon. Handled like a touring car, but was stiff. And lower. My plan when I get the V6 back on the road is to fit the eibach springs on the b8 shocks... That set up i...

As far As I know its just the boot floor seam, and the inner passeanger arch. I was planning and getting the discs refured. And have a set of new wheels and tyres. For some reason the car looses coolant when it stands. Think it needs a proper good look at. if you ever fancy popping over one night ma...

Use matt dash cleaner. Use the foam stuff and wipes on my dmax pick up. Nice factory satin finish. Used it in my cav too,tum great affect.... It's about £5 or so. Don't use cheap stuff from tho pound shop

Dynomat is too expensive. Use silent coat. It's what I used on my cdx. And what pioneer UK used on my new pickup truck when they upgraded the audio system at the factory.

Your car looks high as your tyres are wrong size. You need 60 not 50 profile. Cheap springs will be crap

Re: Want to lower my cav
Buy eibach 35mm springs and stick to a large tyre. 195/60/15 (the set up on my td) comfy springs and you can take roundabouts faster than most drivers. (well with good tyres you can) handling is as much on the tyre as it is with the spring. I use continental eco. Done around 30k miles so far. My old...

The backs of tim Sels seats will fit. But you need to use the bracket from your original. Most people just lay the bench down. The rear seats from cdx/ diplomat often come up cheap on ebay.

Thanks mate. I.ll take a look. I spent so much on the awaap over the last year. It's reallo well specd now. But thinking of giving up on it and buying a pickup truck. It's been uprated to v6 front brakes. Rear discs conversion. Larger brake cylinder. Braided hoses. New handbrake cables. Bilstien sho...

Back in October my old Td fuel tank split. I had a second hand on fitted.
