Great to see you have her back Mike and that she is in the land of the living again. All the nitty gritty bits take time but you will get there!

Re: trip computer ?
It must have been on the long since defunct CavalierCrazy website. Absolutely nothing left from that site now. :-/ Very sad that the site demised but it was yet another that was killed by FB. It used to be really busy and then FB got popular and the rest is history. There was lots of useful info on...

Re: Windscreen claim
As I understand it the £150 XS applies if I don't use their approved supplier (in which case it's probably not worth putting in a claim). The unresolved question is what the situation is now if I told them in advance of my intention of going to someone with a workshop rather than getting their trav...

Re: Windscreen claim
In my experience Adrian Flux will not screw you over, if i'm honest paying for a windscreen and then claiming it back is not something i have heard of before. Adrian Flux only use the best fitters and companies, when I had a windscreen replaced on my Carlton it was replaced by Cambridge Windscreens ...

Sorry to hear that you are laid up in hospital, hope you are well again soon.

Good to hear that you have your Cav back Mike, sounds like they were right muppets that delivered it back, annoying thing is that it didnt really need to go anywhere in the first place!
Look forward to seeing the rebuild.

Re: My Cav vs Bmw Motorbike
Good to hear that your cav lives on Mike, sounds like you have been properly messed about by your insurance company. They had no reason to take your car away, the assessor could have come to your house - hope that you checked it when it came back if it had been sitting in a breakers! Some insurance ...

Re: Vauxhall cavalier L f reg saloon gsi rep two tone projec
Well you'll all be glad to hear the cavalier didn't sell before Xmas and the deal I was doing with her fell through. So what that means is the old girl is staying. I'm ordering up some new parts for her as we speak, new heater matrix, new radiator and new rad switch and temp sender unit. So that me...

Re: Whats your dream car ?
Totally breaking the rules.... I am a simple / foolish soul... I know that there are hundreds of thousands of better marques and models. but I am happy with what I have. The only improvement would be for it to last for another 20 or so years... Therefore: - Limited budget = my Cav in roadworthy con...

Ive never heard of Enfield. Will be doing a few local shows and might do the Dutch manta club show again this year. People should be branded on there forehead for there crimes ie thief, sex offender, murderer ect ect. I like the Red Dwarf answer to these sorts of crimes. If the try to set something on fire then they get set on fire. If they try to steal something then something of theirs gets stolen. A shame tha...

Re: trip computer ?
Anyone know where to buy a new sticker for the trip computer screen? I have never seen them for sale seperately tbh, I used to buy units that didnt work and then change the fronts over for ones without scratches. You could try a sticker supplier and see if they can copy for you although I think you...

Re: Not the expected start to the year...
Had this happen to one of my Cavs a while back, called the aa and they bent the door back and all was fine. Scum like this deserve to be castrated at the very least and for subsequent offences electrocution after being flogged with a spiked stick is the only answer.

Re: New Cavalier joins the collection..
Nice one, looks very nice. I need to get a 3rd brake light on my loon, is that a genuine vauxhall high level brake light?
