can anyone help, my 89 cdi auto doesn't tickover even ,it seams to go from 600rpm,to 850 rpm, its had plugs ,leads etc ,its a 2.0 8 valve

she went in for the dreaded mot last week ,and she passed with an advise on rear arches ,pin hole in back box ,and pin hole in cv gaitor ,now I have to find someone to do the rear arches

my 89 cdi has very rotten rear arches ,what sort of money is it going to cost me to get new arches welded on ,I am in Essex
