Re: 1992 Cavalier Turbo 4x4
Well little update!! It's driving and running very well! Only running about 12 psi so far but feels very fast! Going on what's its as quick as and compared to the old grey cav I reckon it's ballpark figure of 300hp so looks promising as I run the turbo to 24-28 psi when fully mapped and setup!!! De...

Re: Fan switch!!!
u could always use a cool running thermo 2 be on the safe side. I use a cool running thermo on my turbo, but I've also wired a switch to the dash so I can pre-empt the temp going sky high if I can see I'm about to be sat in traffic. It also comes in handy at warm track days as I can flick the fan o...

Florida American Cruise
I'm over in the states at the moment and just up the road from where I'm staying is a car cruise every friday night. It's held at a place called Old Town which is on the 192 interstate. The weather had a 20% chance of rain so it cut numbers I was told from 200 down to around 50, but here's a few pic...

Those wheels look awesome, but saying that so did the euro style rims. Are they 18"?
Just a stunning example of a cav turbo.

Brake Bulb failure light
Since fitting all the epas and having all the dash out, my brake bulb check light no longer goes off when I first press the brake pedal. All bulbs are working. Anyone else had this issue?

Re: EPAS into a Cav Turbo
Had the last couple of bits to sort out for the install. The heater pipe work was never gone fit once the epas column was fitted so had to result to a bit of blue Peter sticky tape and tubes I used an old Hoover hose and some very sticky tape. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v150/Cavturbo/Cavturbo...

Re: EPAS into a Cav Turbo
Few more pics of the dash going back together. The corsa cowling needed only a small bit of modifying to get it fitted from the bottom piece. Now I know it fits, I'll get it painted satin black to match the rest of th dash. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v150/Cavturbo/Cavturbo/D5D40A05-C62B-4046-...

Re: EPAS into a Cav Turbo
Did a test today to ensure all wiring was working. Cav started on the 2nd turn of the key after 6 months of sitting in the garage. A bit rattley when it started but it soon started to quite down. Steering works fine. Spun the steering wheel with one finger and all seemed fine. (Sorry about the wobbl...

Re: EPAS into a Cav Turbo
Been a while since the last update but finally had some time to get back to it. The column is now fitted a wired in. Thanks to my bro in law who sorted the wiring, and his understanding of wiring diagrams it was easier than we first thought. There was only 5 wires required. Constant battery 12v feed...

Re: EPAS into a Cav Turbo
Small update. Managed to get an hour in the garage earlier before my feet and fingers went dumb with the cold. I've used the original 4 mounts on the new column to the section of corsa column frame, then added a couple of extra holes and bolted the corsa frame to the cav frame. The height is perfect...

Re: EPAS into a Cav Turbo
Nice work. I didnt think you'd have to cut at the pedals though, is it that close? The fuse box might need some modding too. Yea it really is that close to the pedals. It was the same on my bro in laws GTE. He had to trim the ends of the pedals and trim the brackets back. Once I have it back in pla...
