ok thanks guys its just i might be having a set of leather seats out of a gsi soon will put more info up when i know the chap is breaking it for anyone who is interested in bits and bobs from it.

Exhaust manifold sorted again not perfect but it will do for now till i get some more funds. I want to get the mechanical bits done first before i start spending money on fancy stuff like wheels, suspension ect and sorting out those damn wing mirrors :lol:

yeah dont worry mate my car is a work in progress too i have just spent a small fortune correcting all the bad things done to my cav, cut springs broken wishbones leaking shocks the list goes on etc etc. £ car convoy sounds good to me keepin it old skool on a sunday morning lol. I could but never done tapping in a block before to afraid with punching through one of the water channels. Is there anyone on here that could do it for a small fee?

Not very happy today my exhaust manifold is blowing again so i have been going around garages getting quotes to sort out two studs that have corroded away and have snaped off. I'm hoping i will get it sorted before the 1st of next month for the south meet.

What do you mean digital? A duel display is easy as long as you have the wiring connector... The full blown trip computer is a hell of a lot of work... But do able... As long as its complete... If you don't have the connectors... You won't be able to do it... Will be doing mine when I get the conne...

She has been lowered at the back by an inch, new headliner put in, new alternator and back flash on the rear window. Wheels were sprayed black with mg tape trim and mg logo stickers. What needs to be done is to locate a water leak somewhere in the drivers foot well, welding in the rear drivers side ...

I had my wiper linkage completely snap off one of the mounts coming back home from Swindon in the rain it was a very interesting trip home. Fitted a new one the very next day nice easy little job that.

Thanks people got the manifold sorted today so she sounds a lot better now just got to tidy the manifold up and i'm thinking of painting it what do you think?
